My traderskiller toon has a house full of trophies, which, due to the count limit, cannot be active all at the same time. Inevitably, I forget to switch trophies around before setting out to craft stuff.
A house full of tradeskill trophies also means I have to mess around whenever I want to use any of the "stat" trophies.
With this in mind, any chance that the Artisan's Prize aug could have all of the tradeskill mods on it? Or some form of upgrade quest where you need to hand in fully-evolved tradeskill trophies, and in return they get merged into a "composite" trophy?

This would be a nice feature to have. In LotRO you can purchase a universal toolkit that provides all the bonuses needed in one item. Even if DPG were to put this as a micro transaction, I'd buy it.

This has been asked for many, many times so it's "on the list" of things to consider. There might have even been an update in the earlier AMA or Fippy Fest session.
Personally, I think the trophy system is a clunky way of dealing with tradeskill trophies, since as you state ... you cannot have them all available at once. With the proliferation and ease of obtaining bag slots, you should just carry around all your trophies and use accordingly. It's really not that hard.
I'd rather limited developer time be spent on developing content rather than QoL measures like this where the developers have stated that it would require a good deal of time to make happen.

I'd settle for a bandolier-type function for trophies, where I can save various trophy profiles and swap them around via a hotkey, like the bandolier.

I would much rather they just put all of the TS trophies onto a separate Trophy tab in the tribute window specifically for TS trophies.

There are never enough bag slots.

Or save/load trophy sets, like spell sets.

This would be even better.

This is what I do. With the size of bags these days I just designate a section of one of my bags for this. My bag organization is in the 2 column format so I just keep the relevant TS container right next to the relevant trophy in one of my bags so it's easy to grab whichever trophy/container I need. The ability to keep trophies in your house is a nice idea, but it's just easier to keep them on me. Also, as mentioned, that way I don't have to fiddle with my TS trophies vs. my raid trophies.
A consolidated trophy would be nice though... even better if it were tied to my artisan's prize.

Another thought, and this would probably be fairly easy to implement since I think the framework already exists...
Add TS bonuses to the Specialty AA tab like the shadow clickies etc
Each rank of trophy would unlock another rank ot the specialty AA tied to that tradeskill (Tailoring maybe getting an extra rank if you have the ToL raid tailoring dagger maybe).
I'd even be willing to pay AA to upgrade these ranks on being available.

"like" the bandolier?
having to carry them is a little bit of a thing? but the primary thing bugging me the past lil' while is just the missing "This item can be used in tradeskills." tag on the no-stats conversion of Blessed Akhevan Shadow Shears

This is currently something we do not have the technology to do. We literally, full definition of the term literal, can only have one skill modified on an item.
Getting a new "All skill" mod has never made the cut.
As for a set of AAs. I truly hate the idea. Doesn't mean it will never happen. But I really do hate the idea. These are items, not spells.
Making a convertible item is more something I would be up for. That way you only carry one item. You will still have to "convert" it, so it doesn't solve the "Forgot to change" "issue," but it does solve the multiple inventory spots issue.

This may be a stupid question, but could you just make each of the trophies convertible to an augment with the TS mod, then have a TS trophy item that has aug slots for each of them? I think augments are technically distinct items, right?

And its a game my dude, quality of life 25 years in isn't a bad thing. Not like an actual Baker is dual wielding a trophy while making a cake because deep down in his heart the trophy makes him a better cake-maker. The trophy is 'proof' you did the things to get the required skill -> AA's are exactly that system personified

not a stupid question, but there is a limit on aug slots, too. Hypothetically the core seven, historically universal trade skills (smithing, tailoring, fletching, pottery, baking, brewing, jewelcraft) could live together in inventory that way (base item + 6 aug slots, that's max). Research and fishing would be left out in that scenario, plus the trio of race/class ones Alchemy-Poisoncraft-Tinkering. Those could all be on a second item? Or split the twelve skills six & six for symmetry. Either way cutting twelve items down to two would be a version of improvement, but somewhat arbitrary.
I favor a solution in the vein of some mounts & illusions being "Free Storage" - TS trophies ought not take up one of the eight Trophy Benefit slots when placed & activated at a character's property.
In their workshop. The Workshop ought to be a special enhancement to one's house, manifesting the TS depot & holding one's trophies, and incorporating the TS benches. Gotta throw in my own version of pie-in-the-sky design ideas…

Anytime someone suggests a completely new game system for a game that is on life support, I always wonder if you're being realistic or not. There's an existing implementation that solves the problem, hell it already solved the identical problem of Clicky Item Buffs as Permanent Unlockable AA Ranks. Why you try to jump through Stockholm hoops to satisfy absurd criteria is beyond me.

Incorporating this nonsense weakens your position. EQ has made and continues to make enough money to both incentivize and subsidize spinning off development of whole other games for approaching three decades.

Convertible items, like the gem cutting tool, sound good on paper, but they are also a nuisance. I made the decision to carry all 7 gem cutting tools, since cut gems are used in so many recipes. The worst was when you had to use the tool that was one back from the last one you used, so you had to cycle it like 10 times. The fully evolved trophies are pretty enough that i don't mind carrying them all in my bags.

I'm basing my statement on the AMA Responses?
https://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq/index.php?threads/the-ama-responses-are-here.296796/
Essentially them having some ideas but having 0 resources to do any real changes.
Last EQ game was a Playstation game almost 2 decades ago? Or are you counting the exit scam that was EQ Next when they realized they cannot in fact make another game?

How much money EQ makes or has made has no bearing on development dollars. It only matters how much EG7 decides to invest in it. Incorporating this nonsense into an argument only weaken the position of the person advocating for whatever seems to be the topic of the day.

What we actually need, is a Trophy Bandolier, so we can swap back and forth on the fly.
Otherwise use /note to keep track of the Stat trophies you want to put back after u are done TS'ing.
